The Research And Design Of Thesis-managing System Based On Campus Intranet

Client/Server structure is the leading mood of present information-managing system; Browser/Server is a new computation-managing mood evolved from the development of Internet/Intranet technique. It is a three-tier OS structure in fact, in the thesis-managing system, users on different levels have different requirements; referred to our school's real implementation situations, the author adopts the approach of combining traditional C/S and advanced B/S in the system development. On the one hand, to the subjects whose major implementation is to find out, scan information and the locations ate disperse, B/S structure is adopted; on the other hand, to those whose major implementation is to deal with matters, provide service, count up charts and support decisions, C/S structure is adopted. The close combination of C/S and B/S forms our school's thesis-managing system. As major personnel of system-implementing, the author analyzed the development of thesis-managing system based on the combination of C/S and B/S.At first, theoretically the author separately introduced the basic concepts, features, and the influences on information system-developing based on the developing mood of information-managing system of C/S and B/S, and analyzed the possibility and advantages of these two structures being applied in the same system at the same time. Then the author introduced the analysis and design of thesis-managing system in the programme-developing process. At last, the author focused on the clients in the C/S of thesis-managing system, and the developing and realizing process of all moods.After the testing, our thesis-managing system has been improved and been more effective. It solved the weaknesses and the key problems. And it can meet the requirements for the information system.
