The Research And Implementation Of Digital Archives Retrieval System

The rapid development and widespread application of information technology have had the profound influence to the national economy and the social development. The archive field has demonstrated the full of vitality in the information society aspect since 1990s. It also changed traditional information field such as archive filed. The digital archives are raised at this time. The digital archives are one kind of large-scale, distributed digital information system established in the application of modern information technology.It take highly order archives infonnation as core and high-speed communication network as technical facility.Arrangement and retrieves is the core work of the archives. Providing highly effective information for the user and establishing retrieval platform of archives is an important function of digital archives.This paper has carried on deeper analysis and study to the archives retrieval system,information retrieval, full-text retrieval and streaming media. We have developed a archives retrival system for a province archives .This paper has done the following research work mainly1. Carry on deep research and comparison to information retrieve, full-text retrieval. We have analyzed the key technology of archives retrival system.2. We have designed the architecture model of the system. Analyzed the function and design scheme of the modules on the application layer of the system and implement the application module.We complete the design of database of this archive retrieval system.3. We have designed a quickly retrieval method, analyzed Chinese word segmentation and character encode.We realized the function of the full-text retrieval using Oracle Text.4. Combining Combining Web Service technology, streaming media technology, we have studied and realized the transmission and the broadcast of video and audio file,as well as visit to distributional full text database of archives.
