Furthermore, select one piece of news to go deep into for "reportorial framing" research, so as to understand how People Daily set up current affairs. Through working over this subject, it comes to the conclusion that the framing of People Daily's Olympic report has following four characteristics: obviously national recognition, fairly strong politically-oriented, a sense of optimistic culture and collective focus concept. Finally, in combination of social and realistic background, it finds out that People Daily's reportorial framing is a triple result of interest group pressure, social criteria and journalistic routines, which is the underlying mechanism of its Olympic report.
