Nowadays, all countries attach great importance to the national images. China has a long-term accumulation of practice and theory about National Image. Since the founding of New China, particularly over 30 years of Chinese reform and opening up, China has always put great emphasis on external communication, introduction of China through various means, which aims to let the world know China better, create a positive image of China, and create a good the external environment of China's peaceful development and public opinion. With the growing comprehensive national strength, China has further enhanced a responsible image of the world, which shaped the national image on the external relations and strategic height. Beijing Olympic Games as a sporting event which attached the world's attention will undoubtedly be the most important event in shaping Chinese national image. Chinese media displayed China to the international audiences in the largest scope throughout the game in a golden month designedly, in high density and full range. At the same time, the foreign media with solid strength had joined the competitive contest. China accepted media interviews around the world with an open stance. The research of China shaping the national image in Beijing Olympic Games would promulgate national image better in further international events.
