The Discourse Changing Of Sports News Report On People’s Daily And China Sports Daily From The Lated Eight National Games In 30 Years

Big sports events are attractive for media to report, lots of skilled athletes compete in the National Games, so many media come to report. People’s Daily is the official newspaper of the Party central committee. It represents the media’s mainstream. China Sports Daily is one of the most important newspapers and magazines in domestic sports newspapers and magazines field.This paper takes the contents of sport report from 1983-2013 of National Games on People’s Daily and China Sports Daily as the research subjects. It analyzes the contents of the 8th National Games by means of literature review, analysis and questionnaire survey. It analyzes the discourse subjects, symbols, contents and contexts in order to find the regularity of discourse changing in National Games from two kinds of newspapers in the past 30 years.The research results show that the discourse of the report in National Games changed with the changing of social environment in People’s Daily and China Sports Daily. The specific manifestations are as follows. There are more diversified discourse symbols, more professional discourse subjects, more diversified discourse contents and contexts with era characteristics. The Communication Symbols of discourse symbols change from unitary and stereotype to contents with illustrations and pictures. The Communication forms change from complexity and dispersion to distinctive style. Some tinier manifestations showed that it had the fixed National Games special edition and formed feature columns, paid more attention to the design of format to make the discourse with more modern atmosphere, the report forms have become more and more diversified, especially the comments’ forms. The discourse contents are affected by politics, economy, culture, sports career and the media itself, so it changes from politics propaganda to sports news, from competition top to sharing with the people, from consolidator model to humanities connotation. And the external media technology environment is increasingly far-reaching influence on discourse.To meet the challenge of changing social environment and the evolution of media technology, the newspaper media should increase the interest of sports news.the layout design should be more flexible. The constitution of discourse subjects should be more multiple in order to form the stable style of sports news report firstly. Secondly, it should update sports concept and amplify the system of sports news. According to the need of audience, it should dig sports culture connotation deeply, build brand and diverse sports media discourse system based on the credibility. Thirdly, we should broaden the sports news dissemination channels of the National Games and take advantage of microblog, wechat, news clients and other mobile platforms to realize seamless style spread of the traditional media and new media and show off the characteristics of the times of sports media discourse spread.
