Data recording plays an important role in the research of seeker. In the experiment field, the data can be saved completely for further analysis after the experiments, at the same time, the saved data can be used to develop new detection algorithm. In order to simulate the radar experiment field, the data can be replayed by hardware. In this way, lots of money can be saved, and the develop time can be reduced. In the paper, a high-speed radar data recording system with multi-channel is made. USB2.0 is utilized as the communication bus between recording system and computer, and IDE is used to store experimental data. Synchronous trigger and gate trigger are performed for radar data recording. To save the radar data, UDMA5 of IDE hard disk is introduced in the system. A LCD system is employed to display state, and a 1*8 keyboard is used to control the system. In the data recording, the radar video signal experiences modulation, A/D, FIFO and FPGA and enter the HD directly. In this way, the speed of data storing can be improved. In the data communication system, USB2.0 is used to communicate with computer. In this way, the computer can control the data recording system directly, for system controlling, data transmission and replaying.A 4-channel high-speed recording system is completed in the paper. The speed of single channel can be up to 20MB/s, which can work without computer. The system avoids the bottleneck effect from the PCI bandwidth to recording the speed. USB2.0 is used in the system as communication bus, which supports plug in and play. The bulk of device is very small, which is easy to use.
