In the fields of helicopter investigation and blasting mechanics research, it is necessary to save the lossless image in order to make precise post-processing for the real-time image of target. Under the premise of exerting the advantages of different types of processors, this paper designs a model of equipment for high-speed real-time image lossless recording. In the model, DSP and CPLD provide the hardware foundation for recording image data on hard disk directly, and MCU control the ISP1581 to realize the hard disk data transferring with USB2.0 interface. This paper introduces the technical requirements for design of hardware and software at first. The workflow of system design and the whole structure diagram are demonstrated, and the system power supply circuit is designed after the request for system power demand and power consumption is analyzed. This paper analyzes the signal format and designs the signal conditioning circuit. Based on ATA/ATAPI specification, the data storage circuit, which records image data on hard disk directly by operating IDE interface, takes the FLEX10K20 as the logical control platform and the TMS320LF2407 as the system controller. Here, the system logic circuit is designed with VHDL language under the development environment of Quartus II, and the soft of DSP is designed with assembly language under the development environment of CCS. Then this paper adopts ISP1581 as the USB2.0 interface chip and chooses P89V51RD2 as the microcontroller to design the hard disk data accessing circuit based on USB2.0 specification. Finally, the USB firmware which is designed with C language under the development environment of Keil uVision3 and the USB device driver based on the Windows Driver Model are also designed.According to the result of experimentation, the average velocity of data recording can be up to 15 MByte/s and the average velocity of data transferring can be up to 4 MByte/s. The test report shows that this system has the performance of high-speed real-time data storage, accessing and excellent stability, which can satisfy easily the request for high-speed image recording.
