Struts Based Management System Of The National Infrastructure Of Mineral, Rock And Fossil Resources

The National Infrastructure of Mineral, Rock and Fossil Resources is a sub project of the national sharing platform of nature and technology resources funded by Ministry of Science and Technology. This project focuses on collecting the digitized precious national distributed rock, mineral, fossil resources based on the sharing mechanism and uniform standards.The University of Geoscience has developed a management system based ASP.NET, it connects the Sql Server database. My task is to transfer the management system from Windows to Linux platform and use Oracle database instead of Sql Server database by using Java web technologies.The management system of the National Infrastructure of Mineral, Rock and Fossil Resources uses framework of Struts + JDBC, uses Struts framework based MVC pattern on presentation layer, uses JavaBeans based business proxy pattern on business layer, uses JDBC to operate Oracle by DAO pattern. The management system is developed on Eclipse platform. The system implements the fossile data management, the rock data management, the mineral data management, the lithoid data management, the ore data management, and E-platform data management, IP address management, user's popedom management, recycle bin management, data export and import management and so on.During the development, the system uses Struts framework and factory pattern, proxy pattern, fa?ade pattern and other patterns, exerts the conception of orienting Objects, completes the module of database management, picture management and export and import management, and also extends the struts framework, builds customer tags.
