Application On The Mineral Resources Information Management Based On GIS

The Mineral Resources Management Information System based on GIS adopts GIS,Database Serer and Interner technology realizer the integral managent of the mineralresource graphics data and attribute data, and provides modern scientific means anddecision—making support for the mineral resources management．After the analysis and classification of the data in field of mineral resource planningand management, the mineral resource plan and management information system has beendesigned based on the key GIS theories and techniques and as MapXtreme tools,component GIS secondary development with Visual Studio and so on.The results can takeas reference to similar information systems.This system is a dynamic supervision and management system of m ineral resources.This system is based on Geographic Information System (GIS) technology, database technology and net work technology. The unified management of mineral resources informationgraphic data and attribute data are realized in this system. Based on mineral resourcereserves annual report database, we design a management information system for all levelsof m ineral resources management organizations and other related users. The paperintroduces the systems design concepts, the function modules, the function of each moduleand the technical features.
