The rapid development of IT technology provides powerful technical support for the informatization construction of university from "Digital Campus" to "Wisdom Campus". The goal of the Wisdom Campus is to provide personalized service for students and faculty and staff based on a digital resources application platform which is a sharing and interactive learning environment. Important objectives of the future "Wisdom Campus" are effectively acquiring and managing teaching resources.In the past construction of "Digital Campus", we set up various application systems. As the system sees more use, many problems arise and remain to be solved. First of all, a vast amount of digital resources are scattered in various application systems and cannot be shared and utilized effectively. Moreover, the development of informatization in university catalyzes the rapid growth of the amount of digital resources available. However, the existing system cannot process and analyze the massive digital resource. the purpose of digital resources application platform construction is to build a unified resource center to maximize the function of teaching resource. Many existing resource application systems in universities are defected in terms of the aspects discussed above. This is also the major issue that most universities are facing in the construction of "Digital Campus".Based on the construction and application of resources at Capital Medical University, this thesis investigates the status of the construction and application of resources. By learning from problems other universities met in the process of planning, we will design a digital resources platform that adapts to the characteristics and future development of Capital Medical University. This thesis solves the following problems:1. Changing the traditional scattered resources construction and realizing sharing of resources;2 Enriching the types of resources that can be stored; managing audios and videos in mainstream format and establishing multiple means that resources can be stored, which improves the efficiency of resource construction;3. Establishing resource transcoding mechanism to satisfy the needs of different applications.4. Implementing the mobile terminal application that allows students and professors to browse and retrieve resources through the wireless network anywhere on campus;5 The platform adopting a mature system architecture and technology that ensures its stable operation; the load balancing technology solves the problem of pressure when concurrent users access the server.
