Research And Design Of The Strategies Of Library Sustainable Development Under Current Information Environment

Sustainable development is one of the fundemental strategies in our country, this basic thought must be present in every part of our society, library is no exception. Library has been shouldering the functions of preserving cultural heritage, popularizing scientific knowledge and developing intellectural resources, it can play a large role while in the process of implementing the strategy of sustainable development in all parts of the country, so it's worthy of exploring the way of library to sustainable development. "Views of sustainable development" originated the awareness of the environment around us, the development of library is largely reacted on social environment, especially Information Environment (IE) around it, because library itself is a center to gather, to organize and to reveal all kinds of information. In this paper, all studies will be from the specific angle of IE, to identificate the relations between library and IE, to analyse the characterstics of the current IE, to forecast the movement trends of IE around libraries, to compare the developments under existing environmental conditions between in China and in America. Based on all research findings above, the sustainable development strategies of libraries in current information environment in china are designed from three aspects.This paper includes five sections.
