The Rural Library In Anhui Province Based On Sustainable Development

In order to strengthen the building of new socialist countryside in China to meet the due enjoyment of cultural rights of the farmers, the Chinese government is vigorously promoting the construction of rural library. The goal of the project of rural library construction is to cover all the administrative villages in China. How to make this vast cultural projects beneficial to rural people complete, to have rural library acquire the sustainable development capacity, has becoming the most concerned focus in the building of rural library.With sustainable development theory as a guide, and with the use of management science, library science, applied information economics and other fields of knowledge, this thesis makes a study on sustainable development of rural library in Anhui province, based on the survey of the present status of construction and use of Anhui rural libraryIn this thesis, study on sustainable development of rural library in Anhui province contains a total of seven parts. The first part is the introduction. This section describes the research background of this thesis and definition of rural library, including research purposes and significance. The research methods in this thesis include the literature analysis, system analysis and interviews, etc. And the thesis at this part points out the thesis's innovative points. The second part is a summary of research consisting mainly of foreign and domestic research. The third part is theoretical basis for sustainable development of the Anhui rural library, which include the sustainable development theory and the supply of public goods theory. The fourth part describes the situation of rural library building in the areas outside, summing up the experience in its construction, and then has an overview of rural library building in China from 1949, summing up the experience and lessons. The fifth part describes firstly status of construction of rural library in Anhui province, and details situation of rural library building in every city of Anhui province. The sixth analyzes the situation of Anhui rural library to find out major problems in the sustainable development. The sevent part deals with the main results of the thesis. This part details measures for sustainable development of rural library in Anhui province, including exploring with government investment as the main strategy for diverse input; exploring strategies for the sharing of resources, reducing input costs of rural library; exploring the long-term strategy for the management and supervision.
