Application Of Data Warehouse And Data Mining Technology In Telecommunication Industry

Nowadays, with the increasing of competition in commercial field, and the uninterrupted emerging of new product in industrial field, and the emerging of new technologies, new discoveries and inventions in scientific field, there is urgent to put forward new tools to support the developing society, and the data warehouse and data mining is the right import tool in this area.The mostly work in this article is developing with the author's project experience , deeply researched the application of data warehousing and data mining in the telecommunications industry, and expatiated on the process of analysis and design in building data warehousing and data mining in the background of telecommunications industry, and in the process of building the data warehousing integrated the developed process of "the analysis of user's number " theme ,in the process of designing data models of data mining integrated the " hive off customers " theme.Firstly, author expatiated on the concept, structure and application of data warehousing and data mining, then has carried on the analysis of the transformation and developing in business pattern of telecommunication industry, then introduce the application of data warehousing and data mining in the telecommunications industry integrated the true case.In the process of building the data warehousing, this article introduce the analysis of data source, building of data model and ETL module, and carried on the analysis of these essential technologies in data warehousing, and proposed how to define a reasonable and efficiency physical model, and how to design the ETL module in the condition of complex data source.In the process of designing the data mining model, this article introduce the definition of business, the analysis of data source, data transform, data extraction and data cleaning, data examination, choice of variable, choice of data mining arithmetic, description of character, developing custom stratagem, and proposed the design method in collection, transform and table of data mining, the principle of adjusting variable, the principle of judging the efficiency of valuable or action and the principle of character description and developing the custom stratagem.
