Marine airbags launching technology is our original launching craft, with independent intellectual property rights. Compared to the past launching craft, the airbags launching is a more simple, economic, time-saving, labor-saving, flexible, efficient and environmentally friendly way. From1980s, the airbags launching has been widely used in a variety of small and medium-sized shipyards. With the continuous improvement of the carrying capacity of the airbags, the weight of ships launched by airbags increasing a lot, and the risks are increasingly high. Pressure monitoring of marine airbags is still using traditional mechanical pressure gauges, while launching operations require dozens or even hundreds of airbags, so the efficiency is low, and there are security risks.In order to improve the efficiency of airbags pressure monitoring, a security monitoring system for marine airbags based on LabVIEW is proposed and designed. This system is divided into two parts, slave computer and host computer. Pressure acquisition completed by the ZigBee wireless network, and the monitoring data is stored and analyzed by security monitoring system software based on LabVIEW on PC. This monitoring system can increase the distance between the monitoring staff and the airbag, improving operating safety. Meanwhile, a simple monitoring interface makes the the internal pressure of the airbags easy to observe, which improves the monitoring efficiency. Additionally, the stored internal pressure data is also important for following-up studies on the safety of marine launching with airbags.ZigBee is a short-range wireless communication technology, with advantages of low cost, low power consumption, ad hoc networks and so on. The slave computer of the system is based on ZigBee wireless network, including acquisition nodes, repeaters, and acquisition. Acquisition node uses CC2530chip as microprocessor, and MPX5700as hardware sensor of gas pressure. The data collected by acquisition node is sent through a wireless network to the collector. Acquisition node device is also used as repeater by software programming. The acquisition device is coordinator of the network, which receives data then send it to the host computer for processing. LabVIEW is a graphical programming language, with a friendly interface, simple operation, short development cycle characteristics, and is widely used for the simulation, data acquisition, instrument control, measurement analysis, and data display in every industry. The host computer part of the system is a safety monitoring system based on LabVIEW software on Windows operating system on PC. The host computer has the following functions:1) Communicate with slave computer through RS232interface, and receive hexadecimal strings sent by slave computer in real time;2) Operate the received strings, then display the number and pressure of the airbags, and show the pressure of airbags in the waveform chart;3) Manage the data by connecting to the database, including save and view historical data.
