| Rotating machinery is one of the key equipment in petrochemical industry, whose running condition directly affects the final benefits. Therefore it's significant for a petrochemical enterprise to make sure that the equipment runs as safely and steadily as possible. Based on a project from some petrochemical enterprise, the thesis develops an on-line monitoring system for rotating machinery based on LabVIEW and solves effectively the abuse by the way of traditional condition monitoring and fault diagnosis.The project, using sensor technique, data acquisition(DAQ), signal processing, fault diagnosis and network transmission technique, realize functions of on-line monitoring and data analysis. The solution to the system of remote real-time condition monitoring is put forward in the thesis. It contends not only the research for signal acquisition and signal conditioning, but also the structural design and realization for data transmission, condition monitoring, data storage and analysis .First, the characteristics of rotor fault in rotating machinery are expatiated. Meanwhile, the commonly used fault diagnosis methods are generalized in order to determine the character parameters and analysis methods. Then, according to the demand of the system, several items must be satisfied including the all-sided of DAQ, the continuity of condition monitoring and the real time of data processing. Hence, a system structure is put forward based on LabVIEW software development platform and C/S network, whose advantages are also described while being compared with the related techniques. Besides, the choice of transmission protocol is extraordinarily important for real-time data transmission, which is also the nodus and key technique involved. In the end, DataSocket transmission is used to resolve the problem. The general structure of the system is designed later as well as every sub module's function and their logic relationship. Each module's structure, realization and key techniques are detailed including DAQ module, remote transmission, multi-thread in DAQ, the database server and the software part of the on-line monitoring system.The on-line monitoring system has already been applied successfully. It has been proved that this system is highly valued since that it's convenient to operate and could run reliably. |
