Research On The Test Of Business Process Based On BPEL4WS

Web service is an effective way to share data and functions on the Internet. It provides a good solution for the interoperability and integration of heterogeneous applications in a loose-coupled environment. As a single web service has limited functions, it can not meet the practical application demands. We need to compose single web service to produce a composed web service with practical value. Now, using business process written by BPEL4WS has been a main way to compose single web services.The wide application of web services has resulted in the emergence of research on web service test. As an important part of web service composition test, test of business process has attracted growing attention. Because research on the test of business process and test tool implementation has an important role in promoting the wider application of web services. However, research on the test of business process has not achieved its maturity at present. Especially, research on the automation test of business process is at its initial phrase.This dissertation has done some specific research on web service composition, business process and BPEL4WS.Research on the test of business process is based on the above research. Importing automation test theories into the test of business process, we have proposed a new business process test model. Relying on the test model, a business process test tool (BPTT) has been developed. The tool can not only conduct dynamic function test of business process, but also can help developers to judge test cases. Judging test cases is conducive to improving test cases. In addition, the tool can realize the automation test of business process. The test of business process can be fulfilled without any human intervention. The test of a sample business process by BPTT has proved that the test tool has given full play to its advantages as an automation test tool. It has improved the test efficiency and the test quality.
