Research On The Organization And Construction Of Characteristic Digital Resources At Libraries

21th is epoch of information, digital resources have already become one of the important sign of evaluating information resource construction in libraries. In the recent years, many libraries construct digital resources more quickly, the whole level of digital resource construction is going up. Following the basis of ensuring emphasis and extruding feature, libraries should construct characteristic digital resources like traditional libraries. Only in this way, libraries can have power of competition, and are worth of existence.Automobile design and manufacture subject of Jilin University is emphasis subject of "211 project", and it has national emphasis laboratory and the most automobile engineering documents. Combining its advantage and characteristic document resources, constructing characteristic digital resource database will have tremendous applying value. The characteristic digital resource database will offer important information for building of emphasis subject and reviving northeast vehicle economy.Therefore, Nanling library of Jilin University chose automobile design and manufacture subject to construct characteristic digital resources, developed "automobile engineering information database". I joined the work of characteristic digital resource database. In this thesis, several remarkable problems related to the organization and construction of characteristic digital resources are discussed, which include reasonable orientation of characteristic resource construction, quality of organizing digital information, standardization and normalization, selection of system platform, knowledge property right, organization of human resources and their sustainable development.
