The Content Analysis On Media Report Of Bird Flu On The View Of Health Communication

This paper is about how the media of mainland China (take newspapers as examples) to construct the subject of bird flu in there reports, as well as the constructions and characteristics variate along with time passes. This paper select all the reports on bird flu of "People's Daily", "farmers Daily", "Sichuan Daily", "Xinjiang Daily," from September 2005 to February 2006 which in the altogether 6 month-long time as the research object, and chose the method which the use investigation and statistics and the text research unified, to explorat the overall situation of our newspapers reflect the topic of bird flu. Then it promulgates the the role, status and inadequate of the reports on the sudden public health incidents from the newspaper category, the time stage, the same topic news case study three dimensions , and summed up reported principles of sudden public health incidents.Specifically says,, our newspaper also has many problems if we appraise it from several aspects as the discovery crisis indication, the satisfied information need, the guidance public mood, the influence government decision-making, portrays the government image: Forewarn capabilities weakly, a single source of information, the event orientation ,the lack of fixed layout, difficout to adhere the long-term coverage ,single coverage, inadequate service of science, inadequate target, and so on.
