In the history of modern newspapers, the "Ta Kung Pao" was painted on a Chinese newspaper indelible mark."Ta Kung Pao" is by far China issued the longest time, so influential newspaper, and has a detailed report for many important events in China’s modern history, with a high research value. As we know, the public health safety has a very huge impact on human life, economic development and social stability, and has a serious threat to the normal process of human society. However, the media as transmitters of information and society has an increasingly important role in response to a public health crisis and almost all public health crises have become the focus of media attention.1902plague outbroke in China, and this year the "Ta Kung Pao" was born, which "Ta Kung Pao" was first focus on giving public health emergencies. Since the1920s and1930s, Chinese and Western cultures continued to collide, exchange and integration, so modern public health concepts sprout in China."Ta Kung Pao" reports on the one hand supervised the government public opinion, on the other hand actively called for community participation in prevention, which showed a high degree of social responsibility.In this paper, I use four chapters, by extracting14years of public health reports of1902-1936years "Ta Kung Pao" for analysis, which study on "Ta Kung Pao" public health reports strategies, and explore the inspiration of today’s news media and how to better maintain the vitality of the media.The first chapter interprets the background of "Ta Kung Pao" Public Health reports, talking about health concepts from traditional Chinese society, along with the influence of Western Learning expounded on China’s traditional society. The concept of public health was from the West, and Western Learning led to the modern concept of public health budding generation.The second chapter focuses on the1902-1936’s "Ta Kung Pao" textual analysis of Public Health reports. Firstly, it summarizes the whole34years of "Ta Kung Pao" Public health reports and conducted combing and classification, and then follow the ideas of normality before disease events and major sudden public health incidents outbreak, so the reports are divided into routine public health reports and sudden public health incidents reports, and were combined with the facts reported in their study strategies.Chapter Three choose case studies from major sudden public health incidents to study "Ta Kung Pao" public health reports and explore the "Ta Kung Pao" how coverage of breaking public health events and how guide public opinion.Finally I summed up "Ta Kung Pao" sudden public health incidents reports changes in strategy.The fourth chapter describes the reference value of the "Ta Kung Pao" Public health reports in today’s media, and is divided into enlightenment of today’s news reports and "Ta Kung Pao" Contemporary Value of Public Health reports, further proved the significance of the study.Finally, by reviewing some of the major conclusions, I discuss the value of "Ta Kung Pao" Public Health reports:not only reflect the characteristics of pressing by men of letters, but also hold a sense of social responsibility of the mass media, reflecting a certain journalistic professionalism spirit behind public health reports. Contemporary media should have learned to understand the relationship to balance economic interests and social responsibility.
