Furthermore, great waves of public opinions came with these incidents had aroused the concern of government, opinion research institutions and researchers in other study areas.The drinking water benzene pollution incident in Lanzhou is another emergent public incident worth of further study. The online game among the government, the media and the public in the development of the case reveals that some local governments lack of supervision on the public utilities and their weakness when dealing with emergent public incidents and the net-mediated public opinion.With the idea of game and the method of public opinion research, I found the government of Lanzhou did not do well in information dissemination, and had been in a passive state while media news reports and the netizen opinions stood against the local government, caused great pressure to the government. Ultimately, there were no so good results in this online game. The deep reason behind is that some local governments were unable to do a good job in dealing with the net-mediated public opinion. Considering of the improvement of relationship among the government, media and public, I proposed some suggestions, and therefore conceived a good information game model.
