On The Upswing In Career And Realistic Embarrassment Of Female Journalist

"The medium and the gender", an overlapping research area of communication study, sociology and feminism, is an emerging research area, and a non-mainstream research. Domestic researchers began to pay attention to this area after the 4^th World Women Conference in 1995, but compared with overseas late nearly 20 years.In the medium and gender research, the female disseminators, the female audiences and female images of the text receive scholar's attention in the recent years, but attention to female disseminator is still limited in these three aspects. From the theory of "social gender", this thesis analyzes the female disseminators in the news and communication.In the news and communication, female disseminator refers to female journalist in this thesis. From the foundation of mass media, it appears take the male power as the central image and the importance of feminine journalists is ignored。 But in the recent years, more and more female journalists enter the field of media. In a word, feminine journalists have held up the half of the world. They challenge the traditional female image and expand the report range. The column which made by feminine journalist develops suddenly and quickly. As they play an up-rising role in the field, great importance of their discourse is attached to them. The reasons of this appearance include the development of economy, the improvement of the concept and the consciousness of gender. Meanwhile, the television media has also created the development space for female journalist. The special characteristics of them like sensitive, impulse and affinity make them great superiority in the field.However, it is unavoidable that the feminine social sex inferiority still exists in this field. This kind of inferiority mainly displayed in the conflict role of the feminine journalist. One is the apparent conflict of feminine journalist's family role and the professional role, the other one is the recessive conflict of their self-understanding. Moreover, because of the lack of the research on gender and feminism, this leads to the difficult position of them to seek the basis of the theory.The up-rising, difficulty and conflict, which are mentioned above, draw outline of the living condition of the feminine journalist. The media field, researching field andfeminine journalist should positively ponder to obtain the self-fulfillment with the development of the media and society.
