In this thesis, we conduct a research on the security of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and the warehouse management based on RFID technologies. The thesis begins with the introduction to the RFID technologies and electronic tags as well as their developments; followed by a systematic study on the principles of RFID technologies, the categories of RFID tags as well as the primary advantages of electronics tag in application. Next, an overall conclusion is given on the security flaws in RFID technologies and then a deep research on the authentication scheme in RFID is made. Based on these researches, the new idea of secure authentication for RFID is presented together with the design principles RFID authentication work flow. At last, a warehouse management system based RFID technology for commerce is realized including both the design of software and hardware. In this thesis, we concern mainly on the design of software.The main results of this thesis are as follows:A systematical summarization of the problems of RFID security has been made. After a deep research on the authentication and the encrypt process of RFID, the new authentication based on the security classification and the design of several relevant methods are provided, aiming at the security and privacy of RFID system.Based on a systematical introduction of the theories of RFID system, a warehouse management system basd on RFID technique has been designed and realized, which include software and hardware. The design principles, procedure of the system and its realization are given and a necessary analysis is made.
