Research And Development Of ASP Based 3D Digital Designing Services

Enterprises in manufacture industry could focus on core operations by using ASP(application service provider) .based on networked manufacturing. In the meantime, they could respond to fast changed marketing needs by advanced technical services provided by ASP. They could also get a better competitive position by knowledge management system provided by ASP. We study ASP based 3D Digital Designing Services in this thesis, including 3D standard part library, 3D digital product catalog and collaborative design.The main idea of this thesis is:1. We study 3D standard part library. We propose the architecture of 3D standard part library based ASP and methods of 3D digital definition of standard parts. We also suggest to store the information of standard parts in XML. And then we describe the mechanism of development, maintenance and update .2. We study 3D digital product catalog. We particularly study comparison of multi-suppliers based on genetic algorithm.3. We study collaborative design. We describe the way people work with it and function of system and propose the architecture of collaborative design based on ASP.
