China Petroleum ERP project is the key elements of China Petroleum to carry forward enterprise informationalization and business integration, Northwest China Petroleum and Chemical Sales companies'ERP distribution management project is a subproject of China Petroleum ERP project, which is a pilot project of integrated application of BPR and creation of ERP system. The author participates in Northwest China Petroleum and chemical distribution company business process reengineering and ERP system implementation, and takes the project as an example to systematically analyze process reengineering and ERP project implementation ideas, methods and procedures, and on key links and core processing methods are constructive.ERP system incorporates information technology and advanced management ideas, and become the mode of modern enterprise, reflecting era's demanding on enterprise reasonable deployment of resources and the creation of social wealth, which is the cornerstone for companies' survival and development in the information age.In analyzing the competitive environment has changed, this paper pointed out that through the implementation business process reengineering and the creation of the ERP system, the establishment of efficient business processes, and advanced reasonable management model, is the only way for the development of enterprises. This article is based on the basic ideas of business process reengineering; explore the difference of business process reengineering methods, hence proposed a gradual reconstruction of existing business processes. This thesis first outlins the principles of ERP, typical ERP implementation process and current ERP application status; then describes the principles and methods of business process reengineering. Research on how to combine business process reengineering and the ERP system, and pointed out that this is complex system engineering in enterprise operations management, also a corporate change.This thesis set project as background, discussed the ERP system planning and design in detail. Overview and gradual reconstruction the northwest chemical distribution company business process. It summed up the major tasks and implementation methods in design of blueprint, technical implementation and other key sectors of on-line preparation, until the success of the project online. Finally this thesis summarizes the results of the work, and pointed out that the present system remains to be perfect.
