Research On Construction Of Data Centre Based On Virtualization Technology

Over the years, information construction is in a " business-driven" model, it's lack of an overall consideration and the system has more differences, there is no uniform data standards and data interface, difficult to achieve data sharing and exchange, so it's easy to form the "data islands." As the data center can realize the system integration and data sharing between the various systems, provide platforms for data policy and data support, therefore, data center's construction has been widely importance, based on data center's applications system continues to grow. However, in the data center server management process, there are many problems about low level of maintenance and management, resource utilization is low, safety risks, difficult on data's backup and so on. To solve these problems, virtualization technology emerged. Using virtual technology to build data centers can not only pool resources, streamline infrastructure, but also reduce overall costs, increase flexibility, enhance application system performance, availability and security.This paper first introduces the development status of the data center and virtualization technology which to build the data center, focus VMware vSphere's theory and implementation methods; Secondly, as a university background, in-depth analysis the demand for data center construction; Finally, using VMware ESX, VMware vCenter to design and implementation of a data center. This paper detailed description of the data center's demands and implementation process, given the methods and specific steps by using VMware vSphere to achieve the virtualization of data center. Design the verification program and verification for three important functions include dynamic migration of virtual machine, snapshots and high availability.This paper to achieve the data center, use of VMware virtualization technology, the integration of multiple applications, on-demand planning data center's virtual Environment can not only improve the efficient use of servers, lower running cost, but also simplify server management model, improve data center's management and service protection level The experiment's results show that virtualization technology can enhance system flexibility and availability to make the data center better meet the actual demands.
