How to improve the efficiency of the use of the server, give full play to the performance of the server, reduce the impact of hardware and software failures? In the case of network management personnel shortage, how to reduce the work intensity and improve work efficiency? How to reduce the investment in the infrastructure of the computer room? The key to solve these problems is virtualization technology.Cloud computing has been a hot research of the current research, and virtualization technology is the basis of cloud computing technology. VSphere VMware provides a reliable tool for our realization of virtualization, which can help us to realize the virtualization of servers, networks, storage and virtual desktop, and intelligent control of the balance of resources. This paper is based on the VMware vSphere virtualization architecture, introduces the concept, types and advantages of virtualization technology. Combined with the actual situation of the college, this paper focuses on the realization of the virtual platform to build, test and implementation of the desktop virtualization process for the future of college information construction to prepare.Using limited resources, improve the utilization rate of equipment, better serve the teachers and students, is the focus work of technical department. Through the study and the research of VMware vSphere virtual platform, I gradually worked out a set for our college virtual transformation program and put into practice.
