For a long time,with the advantage of a rapid effect, a wide preventive treatment,stable quality,easy storage and transport,low cost, pesticide plays a huge role in the fighting against crop pests,promoting the development of modern agriculture in China.Meanwhile, large-scale use and abuse of chemical pesticides has also brought the negative impacts,including environmental pollution, anti-natural enemies, pests resistance, crop quality decreased which produce adverse effects to human health and ecological environment highlights.To promote sustainable and stable development of agriculture in China and norm the scientific use and management of pesticides, the subject develops the application environment of tropical agricultural pesticide and security information system, which has an important social meaning and application value.In accordance with the information of pesticides attributed and important physical and chemical nature,the use of pesticides,which are national registered and reported,the subject constructs the application environment of tropical agricultural pesticide and security information system by collecting the cultivated and tropical crop planting areas,yields and pesticides of six provinces such as HaiNan province,and develops a complete set of softwares related to the methods of pesticide application and controling pests.The system using the Web GIS mainstream development platform and achieved technology,realizes the intuitive visualization and image-based publishing of tropical agricultural pesticide information and improves the efficiency.Meanwhile,it provides a strong information support for the tropical agricultural pesticide management and strategic decision in a limated time. After a number of test operation of actual datas , we achieved good results and designing goals.This article describes the development of the project-related technologies and development platforms, and makes a comprehensive study of the system structure, function modules,the specific development of application environment of tropical agricultural pesticide and security information system.Finally, this article summarizes the research work, and describes the results of the research, and proposes directions for further research.
