As the changes in the ideas of education assessment and the implementation of the new course reform, the traditional assessment modes can't perfectly adapt to the teaching practice nowadays. Putting the new assessment modes into the practice has been a common and strong desire of educationalists. How to put the ideas of new teaching assessment into teaching practice has become an important task to the people working on education reform.In the view of the insufficiency of the present assessment of the Information Teaching Methodology, the researcher combines the current thought of education with the previous studies on the topic, and comes up with the idea of using E-leaning portfolio in Information Teaching Methodology. This system can combine self-assessment with mutual assessment and teacher's assessment, and can carry out the comprehensive assessment about Information Teaching Methodology with rubric in order to realize the comprehensive assessment of students' learning process and development.Combined with my teaching practice in the Information Teaching Methodology, the paper researches on how to construct the system of E-learning portfolio assessment and its application. There are six chapters in the paper. The first chapter explains the research background, the research goal, the research content and shows the present situation of domestic and foreign research. The second chapter shows the related theories about E-learning portfolio assessment. The third chapter explains the related theories about the E-learning portfolio assessment. The fourth chapter elaborates the construction of the E-learning portfolio assessment system in the Information Teaching Methodology. The fifth chapter analyzes the teaching cases based on the E-learning portfolio assessment in the Information Teaching Methodology. At the same time, it analyzes and summaries the effect in the practice from two aspects:the quality and the quantity. The sixth chapter summarizes the research situation, and based on the above foundation puts forward the initial construction of the platform of the E-leaning portfolio assessment about the University Information Teaching Methodology under the network environment.By practical research, the author finds out:E-learning portfolio assessment helps students inspire the study interests; it helps students train the abilities of innovation,inquiry and the team spirit; it helps students advance the activity of self-reflection and mutually assessment; it helps students accomplish their productions better. Furthermore the E-learning portfolio assessment has important significance to improve students'attainment roundly.This research provides a guide to use the method and the strategy of the E-learning portfolio assessment. So it has practical significance to carry out the activities of the teaching assessment.
