The Study Of The Development And Teaching Application Of Eportfolio

The work of this dissertation is focused mainly around three aspects: the research of portfolio assessment, the design and development of the eportfolio, assessment tool and how to apply the eportfolio to teaching.According to the requirement of the new curriculum reform, to improve the evaluation system and the demand for progressive assessment system in three-dimensional teaching material web. This dissertation introduced the origin of portfolio assessment method, development and the status of portfolio assessment as applied to education inside and outside the country. Based on the research of the portfolio assessment theory and the current development status of computer network and database technology, the author analyzed the possibility of developing the eportfolio. Using the tool of progressive assessment about learning, eportfolio mainly takes multi-assessment methods such as performance assessment and authentic assessment to evaluate student. Its purpose is to improve the curriculum development and classroom teaching, making them more consistent with the needs of student development and promoting the students' development. In accordance with the request of portfolio assessment to the progressive assessment about learning, the author used the JSP based on JAVA and SQL database technology to develop a new eportfolio system. The main function of this eportfolio system include: recordingN saving and re-displaying students' learning process , and assessing the process of learning and learning products. The author put forward a suggestion to apply this eportfolio system in high schools, and identified certain problems which should be properly dealt with in the actual application. Finally the author discussed the limitation of eportfolio in the development and teaching application, and also provided the suggestions about the future development of eportfolio .
