Research On Digital Library Information Resources Integration Based On Topic Map

In recent years, as the development of China's digital library construction, the resources of digital library information rose sharply. However, with the information resources expanding, the content of the information is overlapping and there is a lot of redundant information that only knowledge associated with low level of the user's use and access. So it's very important to solve the resource integration and restructuring issues. Information resource integration achieved the communication between different information resources and to maintain the integrity of the knowledge system, information resources integration degree will directly related to the highly effective absorption and utilization.The digital library information resources integration is built on the basis of knowledge system, with the principle of knowledge system for guidance and the topic map is an effective tool as knowledge system. It can completely reveal and explain the relationship between information resources in digital library and establish the information resource point location and the connection between information points and information point's path. Using the topic maps to organize resources field can show the semantic relations between resource points and the data of library resources'enormous level system, link different types of digital and non-digital resource, add new dynamic digital library resources to adapt to the growing resource needs, which can help users find out resource point with any other resource points of the complicated relationship between user needs and present systematic knowledge structure. Thus, the mass of heterogeneous resources integration of digital library provides the solution.The core of this paper consists of four parts, the first part mainly talks about the overview of digital library information resources and the necessity of bringing forward the information resource integration; the second part analyzes four integration technology which the relatively typical information resources integration mode; the third part expounds the topic maps theory, analyzes the topic maps and those advantages of information resources integration by comparing the topic maps and related organization, and then analyzes these feasibility and basic structure, proposed digital library information resources integration the future direction of development; the fourth part put forward the digital library information resources integration constructing model which based on topic maps, and expound the conceive, analysis and design of digital library information resources integration model. And uses the metamorphosis topic maps circumstance as a whole digital information resources integration circumstance, and based on the topic maps circumstance of the digital library the author put forward the information resources integration model, and primarily discussed the concrete implementation.
