Along with the further development of the construction of university digital library,university library has put much concern on the integration of scattered, independent digital information resources, with the aim to provide integrated information service for the user.This dissertation, based on the study of theoretical and technological development of information resources integration, analyzes the current state of university library digital resources integration and services, focuses on the implementation and application mode of digital resources integration system in the times of web2.0, investigates the management, user, service quality of university library digital resources integration and services, construct a evaluation index system. This dissertation is divided into5Chapters, with the major elements showing as the followings.In Chapter one, the theoretical and technological base of digital resources integration is discussed. Digital resources integration is an important practice in the construction of digital library. Synergy theory, ontology, theory of information architecture provided strong theoretical support for the development. The synergy theory emphasizes that the each part of the system should work collaboratively, to make various digital resources interconnected, interdependent and closely, eliminate system chaos, reduce resource consumption and waste of resources; ontology is aimed to solve the semantic problem of heterogeneous digital resources and realize integration of distributed systems and services;information construction theory guides the designation of information navigation system, identification system, search system which help the reader to successfully find and manage information with good experience. Digital resource integration not only brings the digital resources together, but also involves the information description, organization, processing, sorting, searching, service and so on. Technology such as middleware, peer-to-peer network, web service, grid, semantic web and cloud computing provide various effective technical means. In Chapter two, the main patterns and trend of university library digital information resources integration is analyzed. Integration of library digital resources means combine and reorganize data objects of relatively independent, clustering systems into a more efficient new digital resources system, presents to the user in a unified way through unified treatment content in interlibrary, thus, provides direct access to powerful, easy use of library resources for all readers within an area or alliance.Two method, cross-search (unified retrieval) and metadata harvesting/combined index are popularly used in library information integration. Cross-search need real-time distributed retrieval of heterogeneous database, accept the search results from each and sort. Metadata harvesting harvests metadata from all relevant resources system in advance, builds a large unified index through standardization, is rapidly developed in recent years for the retrieval is speeded up. Uniform resource exploration and discovery subverse the feelings traditional library integrated system bring to users with "simple, fast, easy to use, effective retrieval experience".This new mode of resource integration is becoming the ideal of university libraryIn Chapter three, integrated retrieval system and resources discovery system is analyzed. Study on the planning and implement of information resources integration system in university library. Along with the development from retrieval integration to a unified exploration and discovery services, libraries and software vendors have developed more than ten kinds of digital resource integration system since2000.These systems characterises in system structure, technical ideas, function realization, all have their pros and cons. In the implementation of digital information resource integration, university library could make choice among self-developed system, cooperative development, introduction of the mature system. Some colleges purchase the mature system to construct integrated information resource. The implementation including demand investigation, seek to reply, system selection, system testing, online implement and marketing.There are some details need to take care of, such as user centered system design, the establishment of a clear vision and goals, find and solve specific problems (such as metadata quality, integration with ILS), user satisfaction evaluation. In Chapter four, the library information services based on resource integration is researched. In the times of web2.0, university library regards the demands of the readers as the core, make great efforts to redesign the library automation management system, integrate the traditional interlibrary loan, document delivery service, personalized literature service and network information service. Unified retrieval service provides one-stop search of both printed books and electronic resources; unified identity authentication integrate many library application systems, providing a single authentication credentials and secure single sign-on for readers; collaborative virtual reference integrates collection resources, human resources, network services of each participating library by the public service platform, develops a one-stop consulting service; personalized service allows the user to customize their needed information resources; subject information portal integrates specific subject information resources, tools and services, offer a convenient entrance to library service; knowledge service serves the user's goal, aids decision making.In Chapter five, the management, user, service quality of university library digital resources integration and services is investigated, based on digital library evaluation theory, standards of digital resources integration system, usability evaluation research, a evaluation index system is constructed.In the end, it summarizes this dissertation, and points out the limitation of research, and gives the prospect of library information resources integration and services.
