The Research Of Sales Approval Management System Based On Workflow

With the development of economic globalization, special after we gained the membership of WTO, the market competition which enterprises are facing are more and more intense. Most enterprises hope with computer technology to improve their own management level and market competitiveness. So they introduce some information management system, such as ERP. But the traditional ERP already cannot meet users'new demands and cannot adapt to the new change of enterprise. Therefore, people introduce the workflow into enterprise information system solutions, using workflow technology to cope with the insufficient of the traditional systems.Firstly, this essay introduces the concepts of workflow, workflow reference model, modeling methods of workflow and the advantages of workflow management system. Based those, presents the three-view-workflow model. Secondly, taking an enterprise as an example, research their three different sales business process which are leaded by different order taking patterns. Summarize the problems during the management and give some advices. Thirdly, Used a modeling simulation tool-iGrafx, one process of the sales businesses-normal sales process was modeled as workflow model. Then simulate the workflow model and improve it. Prefer to the original model, the new one is better in every performance index. Finally, introduce the workflow into enterprise information system solution and come up with sales approval management system based on workflow. Based on design philosophy of component, this essay designs the operational functional module and workflow platform, designs the database charts, and realizes sales approval process.This essay introducing the management thoughts of workflow, aims guiding carrying out the management information system and providing the reference for the enterprise to improve their informationization level.
