The Research And Implementation Of Workflow-Based Information Management System Of Automobile After-Sales Service

The competition in the trade of automobile is getting fierce increasingly, as the market expands rapidly, and the after-sales service as an important element of this competition is valued more and more by those automobile factories. To be in a leading position in the competition of service, some automobile manufacturers have introduced informational management system of after-sales service, which regulates the business process, increases the efficiency and enhances the competitiveness of the company. However, there still exist problems including low flexibility, unabling to adapt to the variation of the process in those management systems. Thus, it becomes highly urgent to introduce a management system of after-sales service with high flexiblity.The thesis mainly discusses the application of workflow technology in informational after-sales service management system in automobile industry, the practical foundations of this application and the implementation of lightweight workflow engine JBPM which uses open source code to manage the business process.The author in this research adopts the object-oriented programming concepts, carries out a requirements analysis on the after-sales service in automobile via UML modeling tools and proposed that the system must be more flexibility. Two core business processes are extracted from it and are defined by JPDL. To realize the application of workflow engine JBPM in process management, specific business logics which should be fulfilled in the process are proposed. And then realized the three layer in use of SSH.The thesis demonstrates the superiority of workflow technology which enhances the flexibility of the system, decreases the research and performing cost of the system, and adapts to the variation of the business process in a company.
