In order to realize the modernization and informatization of water, the automatic monitoring system of hydrologic data is a system which adopts hydrology and communication and micro-computer technology to real-time monitoring the data processing about the reservoir and irrigation area. The scope of the hydrologic data monitoring system is widespread, and the most in the wild, bad environment, unattended equipment. In the flood season, the timely and stable and accurate is demanded. Much old hydrology information monitoring equipment cannot have satisfied the needs of people about production and life. Therefore, design a set of advanced hydrological information monitoring system becomes necessary.Firstly, the paper introduces the research content of hydrology information monitoring system at home and abroad. Secondly, analyzes the characteristics of GPRS communication technology. Finally, according to the system required functions, based on GPRS remote information monitoring system has been put and met the performance indicators. The remote monitoring system consists of multisensor module, wireless communication module, power supply module and the main controller module. Among them, the core of the hardware is C8051F020, combining the buffer circuit design to implementation each module connection; Using the program Keil as platform, the hydrological information monitoring system realizes the functions of collection, treatment, storage, transmission and so on. Hydrological information monitoring system for the power supply characteristics, using the solar power to research the way of power management and owe voltage monitoring, ensuring that the system of the maximum power's supply.Paper is designed the remote hydrology and water resources information monitoring system, which is based on GPRS to improve our management and use of hydrology and water resources provide strong technical support. The results of experimentation tests for the telemetric terminal make sure that the expected function of this terminal, based on GPRS,is achieved.
