With the development of Computer, Microelectronics, Telecommunications and other new technologies, a variety of radar products, such as, Surveillance Radar, Search Radar, Navigation Radar, have been widely used, but a kind of radar can only complete a specific task, and functions of previously applied radar were almost achieved by hardware, which has led to the radar functions very simplicity and fixity, and has no conducive to the radar equipment's development, production and maintenance, thus directly impact construction of the radar equipment's universalization and standardization. The Software Radar's functions are displayed by radar's interface, which drives the Software Development of radar system according to functional requirements, which has perfect universality, compatibility and extensibility. Therefore, the implementation of Software Radar's Display and Control Terminal in this thesis has important significations for Software Radar's research and application.Firstly, this paper researched the background, contents and significance of the terminal, investigated the developing history of Marine Radar, the developing status of Software Radar at home and abroad, as well as the trend of the terminal. Secondly, from these aspects:the Software Radar's Hardware Structure, Network Architecture, Development Tools and so on, we designed a developing platform for this project. Then, this thesis started from the basic Software Architecture of the Software Radar, analyzed radar's software modules structure with modular method, and studied radar internal processes from the perspective of process-oriented, designed the process-oriented modularized class structure. On these bases, this article analyzed and designed the functions, interfaces of the terminal in detail, and discussed the software design and implementation of the terminal. Finally, considering the existing equipment and conditions in the laboratory, we set up an experimental platform. The experimental results have shown that the terminal of Software Radar can correctly pick up the server's video and status signals, show Radar Scan Images and status information in real time, besides, Server can correctly identify the control signal of Software Radar's Display and Controls Terminal and gave a response.By above researches, this thesis realized a high-performance Marine Radar's Display and Controls Terminal based on C/S structure, achieved the separation of Radar Video's "Processing" and "Show" by network. It has good flexibility, versatility; and provides a solution for the Maritime Radar's Information Sharing, Information Fusion.
