The Design Of Radar Display System Based On Computer

Display terminal is an important component for maritime radar. Its primary tasks include: radar original data processing, objectives and related information display, radar state control, man-machine interface and so on. The main missions in this research is achieving radar display system, including radar and objectives' the state information display, the state control of radar, and design the friendly user interface.In this paper, the data processing is the real radar echo data processed by DSP and FPGA. And the paper achieved conversion from the completed polar coordinates to rectangular coordinate, and solved two key problems, dead address and blind zone phenomenon. The paper apply radar image zoom, non-central display, small window display, in addition, draw all kinds of assistant information such as distance circle, scanning lines. With the character of radar's huge data and high requirement of real time, we achieved the radar data transmission by PCI card and slot.In addition, according to the characteristics of marine radar, from a practical application point of view, we completed user interface design. The display terminal is design by the tool of Visual C++ 6.0. The flat can accept the information input by the equipment such as mouse, and keyboard; and based on the internal data, display the radar image neatly and conveniently. The friendly interface design improves the capability of operation greatly.This paper, according to the actual needs, solved the key issues of radar images show, and accomplished the design of radar display system by using of software.
