With the development of electronic technology, video processing system has been widely used in many fields. Because of high speed of video processing system, signal integrity analysis has been an essential part in design process and the only way to solve many design problems.Taking a typical video processing system as a example and signal integrity theory as the tool, PCB laminated structure with 8 floors and characteristic impedance of overall transmission line with 70? are designed with the current technological level and hardware package structure in the thesis. Firstly, termination scheme and topological structure of key line network are designed by using the basic theory of the reflection and validated by using Hyperlynx 7.5. And then, the maximum allowable coupling length based on the crosstalk noise amplitude being less than 160mV under different spacing is obtained by using the basic theory of the crosstalk and Hyperlynx 7.5. Thirdly, the theory of power integrity is analyzed thoroughly and applied to the video processing system. Finally, the problems of timing, through holes and power layer partition affected system performance are analyzed in detail.In this thesis, good solution is provided for the problem of signal integrity in hardware design of high-speed video processing system.
