The appearances of 3G concept, 3G technology and services, and 3G mobile phones marked the coming of 3G era. 3G is not only a means of communication, but a way of life and modes of transmission. There are both opportunities and challenges for TV-media in 3G era.The opportunity is that the TV media can achieve a new transformation and elevation by taking advantage of 3G, and complete a new docking with the new communication order. The challenge is that the TV's attention, the ratings and advertising revenue has been violently shaken. TV media whether to adjust in time and do not lost themselves in the impact of new round, and continue to maintain their advantage is urgent concern of allis and the origin of this study.In this paper, the context of 3G development strategy for television has been did a preliminary study. The first chapter briefly outlines the purpose and significance of these topics, research status, a more detailed analysis of the second chapter of the traditional TV media in the 3G era is facing some major crises.The chapter 3, 4, on the context of 3G development strategy for survival television media specific analysis carried out. TV viewers did not lose the meaning and value for existence, the author believes that television media can survive by creating new audiences, changing earnings patterns, innovativing advertising format and content, perfecting Industrial chains in order of television media, marketing-effective breakthrough play a cultural advantage, building a harmonious society, the media may be consolidating the television media in position of the main pattern. In this chapter, various sections are listed with the more typical case, and also provides the author's personal evaluation.When presents the researching background of the paper, the author mainly used induction and synthesis of the literature method. In the discussion of traditional media's position in the new structure when compared with the horizontal and vertical extension of the method, and strive to view each extended to television media-research, and as a major part of the paper, the chapter 5 mainly used the comparative research method and case study method, sought by comparing and analyzing the case, the strategy can easily be used.3G overturned the old order of subversion and re-shuffle the existing pattern of media, and the 3G integration has become the only way for traditional media. besides this, because of the high-requirements for hardware, compared to other media, the way of television media in 3G era is slightly hard on this area, but so does the study about this area. So, the article selected the survival strategies of the traditional TV media as the research topic. I hope to give the research of traditional TV media some inspires.
