In recent years,various countries have attached great importance to the research of aquatic sports.With the increasing of competition,various countries' trainers,athletes,and scientific researchers cooperate closely to attempt to use sailing instruments to monitor the training process of yachting, and to obtain comprehensive data for scientific evaluation and guidance.The establishment of a sailing scientific training mode will guide athletes learning sailing techniques,and accelerate the training process.In order to solve the problem sailing training quantitative indicators,this paper makes a design of sailing on-line monitoring and coaching system with on-site interaction.First,the paper describes sailing and its dynamics theory,the factors affecting sailing,including the time and space factors,environmental factors, sailing factor and athlete's factors,and collates and analyzes these factors. Through close communication with the sailing athletes and national sailing team coach,the paper further corrects the above-mentioned factors,points out the system works,and gives the specific functions of system implementation.This article describes a new multi-parameter training and monitoring equipment for sailing,which integrates the data collection,analysis,storage functions,transmission,and real-time display.The equipment uses the SOPC technology, sensor technology and wireless data communication technology to simultaneously collect the indices of longitudinal and cross dips,course,speed, location,wind speed,wind direction,etc, to achieve data communications and on-site interactive between coach and athletes.In this paper, the system design process divides into two parts:athlete's part and coach part.Athlete's part divides into three devices:trunk device,the sensor devices,and portable devices,which implement the athlete's end integrated information collection,processing,transmission,local storage,and display. Coach terminal device implements communication with the trunk device and with third-party device,and achieve comprehensive data terminal display.This paper introduces the overall architecture of system,specific functions,and the relationship between equipment,and describes hardware design and software solutions about the key part of the system. Finally,with the actual research and development results,summarize and analyze the characteristics of the system,forecast the next step of the design work in future.
