With the development of technologies in the information field,the data acquisition has made great progress.The information of the data acquisition is the essential aspect for the current social development,and the data acquisition is used in a variety of fields,for instance,oil exploration,seismic data acquisition ect. Along with the wide application of the real-time control system,the data acquisition system,whose core is embedded system,has dominated the measurement and control field.This paper studies how to use SOPC technology to design multi-channel data acquisition system.Soft-core embedded processors,data acquisition processing section and the LCD display system design is an important part of the three.System embedded soft-core CPU design,the use of embedded soft-core Nios II processor controls data acquisition system working to achieve the system design tasks and requirements.Based on the current development of embedded systems using SOPC technology features,the processor and the memory and I/O interfaces,hardware co-processor and the ordinary user logic function modules integrated in an FPGA chip inside,thereby constructing a programmable system on a chip.Then use this technique in the FPGA chip on the Nios II soft-core processor and associated interface module configuration in order to complete the major hardware circuitry,combined with system software designed to control the hardware.Accomplished using the Quartus II Nios II system integration and hardware optimization,adaptation, programming download and hardware systems, test work;reuse SOPC Builder achieve Nios system configuration, generation;Modelsim on SOPC Nios II system generated HDL description the system functional simulation; using Nios II IDE for software development,commissioning and operation;finally LED display for data collection.
