With the development of society and science technology, data acquisition becomes more and more important in modern industry production and science research. That brings higher demand of real-time and high-speed to data acquisition. So, it has two aspects of demands: First, it requires flexible interface and high-speed data transmission. Second, it needs high performance control units to respond and deal with the data. Now most of data acquisition adopt PCI or ISA technique, and they have some defects like as complex, expensive, poor expansibility, etc. Universal Serial Bus (USB) can resolve some of the problem above on. The USB2.0 has the most high-speed transmission of 480Mbps, so, it was applied in the system. In the aspect of control, Micro Control Unit (MCU) and Digital Signal Processor (DSP) are always used. MCU has a low data-dealing speed and DSP has a high cost, FPGA not only has high speed, but also easy to use. So it was chose in the design. In the aspect of data handling and result display, Virtual Instruments was adopted because its flexible and powerful function. The paper researches high-speed data acquisition system based on SOPC, displays the result and controls the system with Labview.The paper presents a design method of high-speed data acquisition system based on SOPC (System On a Programmable Chip) and USB2.0 interface, realizes a simple virtual instrument on Labview plat, and introduces the working principle of USB device-CY7c68013, SOPC functional module used of FPGA and the methods and steps on how to use Labview to design the virtual instrument, and expounds the hardware realization of this plan.
