Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Lung - Yin Deficiency Dry Eye With Runfei Recipe Combined With New Tears Of Eye

Purpose:By combining the curative effect of Ziyin Runfei medicine with Tears Na turale Forte eye drops and Tears Naturale Forte eye drops the differences of the tw o treatments in alleviating subjective feeling and ocular surface signs,the test aims to ver ify whether traditional Chinese medicine will benefit dry eye patients.Material and method:60 cases of dry eye patients were divided into 2 groups.The 30 cases of experimental group were treated by Ziyin Runfei medicine and Tears N aturale Forte eye drops; Another 30 cases of the control group were treated only by T ears Naturale Forte eye drops. 4 weeks later,the curative effect was evaluated throug h the subjective symptoms(including dry feeling,pain of eye,foreign body sensation, a sthenopia,white eye redness),Schimer I test, tear break-up time and corneal fluore scein staining.Results:1.After treatment, both groups showed rise in value of Schimer I test and tear break-up time(P<0.01). 2. After treatment, both groups showed the value of the subjective symptoms score(including dry feeling,pain of eye,foreign body sensation, asthenopia,white eye redness) and corneal fluorescein staining decreased(P<0.01). 3.Indicators effect of pain of eye and white eye redness were not different with the control group(P>0.05).Indicators and curative effect of the experimental group were significantly better than the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion:Combination of Ziyin Runfei medicine and Tears Naturale Forte eye drops shows bet ter effect in alleviating subjective feeling and ocular surface symptoms of dry eye patien ts than applying Tears Naturale Forte eye drops only.
