Purpose:By observing the effect of "eye acupuncture and moxibustion" combined with artificial tears on the treatment Qi and Yin Deficiency type of severe dry eyes,to evaluate the efficacy of the method for the treatment Qi and Yin Deficiency type of severe dry eye.Method:90 cases of Qi and Yin Deficiency type of severe dry eye patients were randomly divided into group A,group B and group C(n=30).Group A used artificial tears(0.1% Sodium hyaluronate eye drops treating eyes)1drop each time,4 times a day.Group B used "eye acupuncture and moxibustion" treating eyes.Group C used the treatments of Group A unite with Group B,3 groups were treated daily and treatment were all 15 days.Comparison between before and after treatment of SIT,BUT,FL and subjective symptoms of dry eye, after a course of treatment,Comparison of the therapeutic effect.Result:1.After treatment, the tear secretion of three groups were compared, the differences in groups possessed Statistically significant(P<0.05),there was no significant difference between group C and group B(P>0.05),group C and group A were statistically significant(P<0.05),There was significant difference between group B and group A(P <0.05).2.three groups before and after treatment, the breakup time of tear film were compared, the differences in groups possessed Statistically significant(P<0.05),there was a statistically significant difference in comparison between any two means(P<0.05).3.three groups before and after treatment, corneal fluorescein staining score were compared, the differences in groups possessed Statistically significant(P<0.05),there was a statistically significant difference in comparison between any two means(P<0.05).4.three groups before and after treatment, dry eye symptom score were compared,he differences in groups possessed Statistically significant(P<0.05),there was a statistically significant difference in comparison between any two means(P<0.05).5.After treatment, the total effective rate of symptom relief of three groups were 26.7%,83.3%,93.3%.2.Conclusion:1.In promoting the secretion of tears, eye acupuncture and moxibustion combined with artificial tears was better than simply using artificial tears, simply using eye acupuncture and moxibustion was better than simply using artificial tears.there is no obvious difference between eye acupuncture and moxibustion combined withartificial tears and odium hyaluronate eye drops.2 In delaying tear film rupture time, eye acupuncture and moxibustion combined with artificial tears was better than simply using artificial tears and simply using eye acupuncture and moxibustion.simply using eye acupuncture and moxibustion was better than simply using artificial tears.3 In the corneal fluorescein staining score, eye acupuncture and moxibustion combined with artificial tears was better than simply using artificial tears and simply using eye acupuncture and moxibustion.simply using eye acupuncture and moxibustion was better than simply artificial tears.4 In the dry eye symptom score, eye acupuncture and moxibustion combined artificial tears was better than simply using artificial tears and simply using eye acupuncture and moxibustion.simply using eye acupuncture and moxibustion was better than artificial tears.
