Designing & Realization Of Chemical Literature Service System Based On Deep-refining

In the information age, people have stronger desire for better literature services. This thesis proposes a new service model of chemical literature database through designing and realization of deep-refining based Chemical Literature Service System, aiming to improving the traditional models and providing more convenient and efficient services.The thesis is based on a national research program on China Digital Technology Library conducted by Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry Research. The whole paper is composed of six parts as follows:Chapter 1: Introduction. The part gives a brief introduction of the development in chemical literature and the application of its librarian network. It also reviews most literature databases and search engines in both domestic and international academia. In addition, it compares the new system discussed in this thesis with other databases and demonstrates its feasibility and ultimate goals.Chapter 2: Literature Data processing and sampling. This part mainly introduces data sources of the chemical literature service system. It originates in the plan of deep-refining of chemical literature, which has the function of inputting data directly from quotations of literature. The sampling extents, principle of selection, content of quotation and other principles of data entering is also introduced in this thesis.Chapter 3: Data analysis and Database design. Based on the analysis of the data from literature data, this part mainly carries through the systemic background database design, and introduces the process and methods through which the entry database of original quotation converts into the background database to provide the final search service. With emphasis, this thesis solves the problems of designing the systemic database and converting the quotation database into systemic background database.Chapter 4: Development of chemical literature service system. This part particularly introduces the primary process of the system's development, including related technical feasibility of the system and the searching plan. This thesis designs the Web search application flow based on the analysis of clients' demand. The thesis has solved certain key problems which are important in the chemical literature service system design and realization process. These problems include the system realization technical route, the search plan design, the search result demonstration and correlation result.Chapter 5: System running demonstration. This part demonstrates the system running process through the examples and briefly sums up the running of the system.The last part is the forecast of the future work. This part is mainly some suggestions and forecast of systemic future work, in order to guarantee a better running system.
