Nowadays the information on the Internet is rapidly increasing and being updated in real time. How to acquire the needed information quickly and accurately is a main topic of the Web information retrieval technology.Chemistry is a science of experiment, accumulation of chemical literatures and data which have great value of application and reference to the chemistry study. With the rapid development of computer-based Internet technology, more and more scientists construct and process chemical information through computers, and the procession and retrieval of the chemical information have become more and more convenient. Chemical literature search system have also become important tools for chemical workers.China Chemical Literatures Retrieval System, owned by Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, China Academy of Science, can provide users with chemical information service in the society and the industry. Users can visit the literature database through Web browser, and the system can eliminate differences of data access in different locations and can provide high quality chemical information service to its users.The China Chemical Literatures Retrieval System can make users obtain relevant chemical information from difference chemical database in one search portal. The system can not only enhance the value of data reference but also help users get chemical information more conveniently and more sufficientlyChina Chemical Literatures Retrieval System is an integrated system which can not only manage chemical data but also provide users with chemical information service. The system provides different chemical information search portal for its user; user can get chemical information in different angle from the system. So,the chemical databases which are related with each other by the chemical literature search system became a system of chemical knowledge system.The balance of chemical information production and processing was reached by the highly applied and processed to the huge chemical information, the system solve the big contradiction between ever-increasing chemical information and limit time in studying. And the system pushes the development of using chemical information back to the future.My major work in this subject is as follows:1. I had analyzed the behaviors of the chemistry users, and .stated the necessity and great signifance of Literatures Retrieval System development.I analyzed what functions the Chemistry Literatures Retrieval Sytsem should have based on users' function and quality needs.2. Based on the comparison and contrast between China Chemistry Database and other chemistry databases, I had designed the China Chemistry Literature Database structure in three aspects: concept structure design, logic structure design, physics structure design.3. China Chemical Literatures Retrieval System have many search portals ,such as: literature search portal, patent information search portal, toxicity search portal, compound search portal.etc.4. To fully use the information of Chemical Literatures Retrieval System, we had designed many search portals, such as literature search portal, patent search portal, etc. The users may access chemical information through different search portals.5. I had designed the following function module for China Chemical Literatures Retrieval System .The system can efficiently manage control users' access limit,The system can provide users with combined logic search, such as 'AND and 'NOT' logic search, 'OR' logic search and second search.The literature details information is shown more directly when the diagram and picture of structure compound are added.Advanced software technology is applied in compound structure express modoule which can draw two-dimensional structures of compound and three-dimensional structure of compound.
