Study On Knowledge Service To Students In Academic Library With Modern Educational Technology

Content: With development of computer and network technology, the application of modern educational technology become more and more popular in fields of education. It is necessary for us in the libraries of university to use the modern educational technology and information technology to study educational phenomenon and activities , offering knowledge service and sharing knowledge of library resources and human resources to the users which include dominant knowledge and recessive (opaque) knowledge.Teachers, especially students are users of in the universities' library. Education and services to the students in libraries of the universities and colleges include political ideology, knowledge learning, hobbies and so on. By using modern technology we can foster the students' ability of collecting (receiving), storing , processing and outputting the information, build up net resource, enhance the characteristic education, personal education and innovation instruction. Having the students to be aware of the values of modern library, we can promote the position of libraries in universities and colleges in teaching and learning.This paper analyze the application of modern educational technology in library for knowledge service, proving the conceptsbetween education technology and information technology as well as their relationship, expounding theoretic basis for studying knowledge service, expressing the significance for using educational technology in libraries of universities and colleges, and introducing modern information technology in libraries, which include multimedia retrieval, automatic abstracts, content filtering and controlling technology, knowledge search engines, data mining, push technology, on-line translation, groupware technology and describing knowledge map. The article carries on study needs to investigate and test for academic students. Meanwhile, brings some statistics and analysis on students' needs and construction of knowledge in different stages. It also analyses the factors which would affect student's knowledge needs and knowledge structure, and then do some specific research on the major target of knowledge construction, the steps and models of their personal targets, the confirming conditions of setting up the characteristic knowledge service, the concrete operations, the choice of the models ; the innovation education and the testing of the efficiency.
