The paper mainly probes Ye Shengtao's editorial ideology. Its premise is the summarization of present situation about Ye Shengtao's editorial ideology research and THE JUVENILE STUDENT's history. Based on the Ye Shengtao's education and edition course, this dissertation's first mission is to analyze the connotation of Ye's editorial ideology. Then, The paper discusses the standpoint: PUBLISHING IS EDUCATION. In the next section, an analysis on the viewpoint of EDITOR'S GUIDE AND READER'FOCUS is also done with a comprehensive study about THE JUVENILE STUDENT. Furthermore, the author tries to probe the text of THE JUVENILE STUDENT, including the text's characteristic, the text's innovation, column and the special issue. Finally, the paper draws a conclusion that the viewpoint of EDITOR'S GUIDE AND READER'FOCUS is the core of Ye Shengtao's editorial ideology.
