The Office Automation System Based On Knowledge Management Of Guiyang Telecom

The office automation system(OAS) has been developed to the third generation, which is based on the knowledge management(KM).The OAS is established on the Intranet platform. It can help the enterprises to realize the display about dynamic content and real management about knowledge. It also gives chances to each employee in the enterprise about learning and improvement in corporation. This paper relys on the development of Guiyang Telecom Company Office Automation System. It studies the OAS prototype based on KM and gives a real system. The system runs in Intranet architecture and in groupware condition of Lotus Notes. 2 servers constitute Domino clusters to balance loads, data synchronization and system backup etc. It's net operation platform is Windov/s NT Server, Windows 2000 Server, which can implement cooperation Work among group through computer and communication net.This article does research on the design idea and method of Office Automation based on KM in telecom department. It establishes a OAS prototype, which includes construction of system frame and realization of each module. The article focuses mainly on how to realize KM integrated with the fact of Guiyang Telecom and introducing the KM technology. At last the article points out the technologies about documents transmission and gives out a series of strategies to ensure the the security of OAS. KM technology such as Lotus Domino R5 is to establish the enterprise cooperation and information platform; Sametime is to realize enterprise synchronized cooperation and expert searching; Domino.doc is to manage documents and explicit knowledge automatically; finally Learning Space is to realize the training of employees. In the chapter of document transmission the model of document transmission, the characteristic of document transmission, the design of workflow in Notes and the solutions of document transmission is emphasized Finally in the charter of system security research the OA security system in term of Notes security scheme integrate with other data security system is pointed out.The researching of OAS in this paper has been applied successfully and gained well application effect and greatly increased the management level and official efficiency inside the Guiyang Telecom Company.
