The Office Automation (OA) is an important part in enterprises information system. The development of the Office Automation System is synchronous with the data, information and knowledge' s .The first generation of the office automation system, which main handle with the data, had developed to the next generation of the office automation system, which main handle with information and is developing to the third generation of the office automation system now which main transaction contents is the knowledge. It completed two flight leaps in three evolution stages of the office automation, one is data handles toward information handles; the other one is information handles toward knowledge handles.Carrying out the Knowledge Management is requirements of enterprise for adapting themselves to the social development, and it is also the goals of the enterprises information system construction. Combining OA with the Knowledge Management to construct the office automation system which is based on the knowledge management is the development trend in the new generation of the office automation system. For integration the office automation with the knowledge management, made the knowledge management play an important role and also made the office automation take place the quality to leap.
