A Study On Domestic Publishing Houses' Websites Construction

With the development of internet and its permeation with traditional publishing industry, internet will become the future publishing house's working foundation. It's the technical support and the technical guarantee for publishing house marcheing into hypothesized and the digitized times. Meanwhile it provides the brand-new working conditions and working ways for the publishing house. This paper tries to analyze the current situation of domestic publishing houses' websites and presents a solution to improve the performance of it.This article first makes a macroscopic description on the development and the current situation of domestic and foreign publishing houses' websites, then it mainly analyzes the content of the domestic publishing houses' websites. This' investigation altogether visited 35 domestic publishing houses' websites, including 5 publishing group websites, and it carries on the detailed analysis of quantification statistics. And it carries on the analysis appraisal separately from the service maturity, the customer relations management, the website information structure, the website information processing and so on. This article summarizes three basic functions of publishing house website, namely service function, education function and exchange function, and it establishes a scientific appraisal analysis system based on three basic functions. After referring to the construction condition of the before domestic publishing houses' websites and the current overseas publishing houses' websites, the paper, discovers the advantages and the disadvantages, and proposes the corresponding countermeasure on the existence question of present domestic publishing houses' websites.
